Nurture Voxbox

I am a member of Influenster and I got a #NurtureVoxbox with lots of great products to test out for free.

So many different products. Facial mask, uncle bens rice coupon, blue lizard sunscreen, dramamine, red vines, ore-ida coupon, and attitude hair care.

I had never tried any of the uncle bens products before. 

I bought the roasted chicken and put chicken in the slow cooker that morning. After working all day I was amazed, dinner was fully ready for everyone to eat in less than 2 minutes! All you have to do is tear the corner of the bag a little and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds. Its done! And the rice is only like $2.00.

A coupon for free Ore-Ida extra crispy easy golden fries or extra crispy easy tater tots. I chose the extra crispy easy tater tots because my kids love tots. It was a very small box but for $1.25 who can complain. 

It was a nice small snack for the kids. They were to bad. Just throw them in the microwave and they are done.

My oldest daughter is 11 and has been car sick forever. We haven't went anywhere, so they haven't been tested yet. I am excited though to try them because its usually a battle to get her to take anything that she has to swallow. Best thing about these are that they are a capsule so I can open them and mix them with a liquid and it'll be so much easier for her to take.

Blue Lizard Australian Suncreen Sensitive and a sample of the sport SPF. The lid turns blue when in in the presence of harmful UV rays. It gets a deeper blue the more UVs that are present. I think thats awesome. I wanted to try it out and take a picture but my daughters are away at camp and they are using it this week. A 3oz tube costs around $14.99 and the sport one is $12.99.

Attitude 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash. Smells decent. I myself have not tried it out yet. My daughters also took this to camp so that they didn't have to take several bottles. These products are made with safety in mind, only worry free  ingredients. No chemicals or toxins.

Then we have the Ultimate Anti-aging face mask.Its a soft, single use, 100% cotton mask. It drenches your face with an entire bottle of serum to boost hydration, smooth fine lines, and restore firmness. Clinically proven to increase hydration 2.5 times faster in only 10 mins. 

You just lay it on your face keeping the cut out places to your eyes, nose and mouth. Leave on for 10 mins. Take it off and rub the extra in a bit and your done. No messy cleanup, you just pitch it in the garbage. 

Lastly the Redvines. Like a twizzler. They are fat free and made with only 5 ingredients. Honestly, my youngest wanted to try them and didn't like them. I had one bite and I agreed with her. It wasn't very good tasting. 

I loved just about everything in my Voxbox. I recommend just about all the products.

Uncle Bens

This was a great product to get to try out. I probably wouldn't have ever purchased it. Now that I have gotten to see how easy it is to make I will be buying more flavors. 

I purchased the roasted chicken. Since we both work full time I put chicken in the croak pot that morning. I came home grabbed the rice, ripped the corner a bit and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds. It was great, 90 seconds and dinner was complete. 

If you haven't tried it yet I suggest you do. Quick and easier dinners are in my future. 

Dramine Non-Drowsy Naturals

I am a member of Influenter and I got to sample Dramamine Non-drowsy naturals with natural ginger.

We have not used them yet because we haven't went anywhere far that we needed them. My oldest is 11 and has been car sick since she was 1. What I love most about these dramamine pills is that they are capsules and we can open them and put the powder on a spoon, or into food or drink. My daughter has refuses to swallow pill so that is a big bonus. I have never found a dramamine pill that you could take without swallowing a pill. 

Satellite Trilogy Part 1 by Lee Davidson

I was chosen to read Satellite, Satellite Trilogy Part 1 by Lee Davidson for free from Tomoson. At first I will admit it was hard to get into. I think because I was busy and it had a different story line to it then other books I've read. Once I understood what was going on and how things worked I really got sucked in.

It was a great book with a great story line. Its about people who die and become Satellites. The Satellites are sent to Earth to watch over Tragedies. The Tragedies are people on Earth who are having troubles, like having loved ones die. The Satellites watch over them and make sure they keep them on the right path. They make sure they stay calm and do no harm to themselves or others.

I really got sucked in and felt the characters emotions and feelings throughout the whole book.
Now I'm really looking forward to reading part 2. I just have to know what else is going to happen. I really recommend reading this book. You won't regret it.

Randoms Gummy Candy

I received 2 bags of Randoms gummy candies for free from Smiley360 for testing purposes. One bag to try and one bag to share. 

They are so cute and taste really good. I, myself, even at 33 years of age love gummies. My girls and I really enjoyed these. There are 70 different shapes, which I think my girls had the most fun with. They loved seeing what they could find in the bag. They have 7 different fruit flavors and 3 different gummy textures. You can see some of the different shapes above. They were also diamonds, saxophones and many many more. 

This picture shows how some of them had white bottoms for a different texture. Those are my favorite. So if you in the store grab a bag for yourself or your kids. They will really enjoy them. 

My BFFs engagement weekend

 My friend Matt (who is also one of my BFs) was ready to finally propose to his girlfriend Sara who is my BFF. He picked out the day to ask her and then set it up so that there would be a surprise engagement party after. Only thing was he chose a Sunday when she had a work picnic to go to. He wanted to get things started that Saturday so he asked me to keep her entertained for the day so she wouldn't show up at his house and find out. I asked her to go shopping with my kids and I. We went about 45 minutes away to a mall and did some shopping. Most of the trip she talked about her work picnic for the next day and how she just knew Matt was going to get out of going with her. It was so hard to not say anything to her. Once we were down we headed back to town and Matt text and said he needed more time. I took her with me to my moms for a few hours. I'm sure she was very bored all day.

The next day, the day he planned to propose, he got another couple to go for a motorcycle ride with them. Sara was texting me and getting upset because it was close to time to go to her work picnic. She was getting mad. All I could do was laugh. They took a ride out to a near by lake and he got down on one knee and FINALLY proposed. She said yes of course. She text me and was so excited. The party still had an hour or two before it was ready for them to show up, so Matt took her to a bar for a few drinks. Talk about being mad. She was furious! She wanted to really go to that work picnic. She was still clueless to the party.

When they finally showed up to the "surprise" engagement party we were all hiding behind the house. She knew something was going on because there were balloons all the way up the drive way but she still wasn't sure what it was for. They drove the bike behind the house and there we all were. Their friends and family. She got off that bike, took off her helmet and just started bawling. Of course I cried with her.

That weekend was one of the greatest weekends for me with Sara because I got to be involved in it all and help out. I was so happy to share in one of the biggest moments in her life. That weekend was over a year ago and this year is the big wedding and I'm completely involved in that also and I can't wait!
